Google’s Future

In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, I’ll break the news to you that Google released 4th quarter earnings yesterday. In other exciting developments, The Onion has the scoop on what the search company will be working on in 2005.

UPDATE: Google also posted a little presentation on what they accomplished with AdWords in 2004. I wonder which of the engineers pictured got the Google Founders Award (some chunk of $12 million in stock). I’m guessing it’s Eric, Chad and Claire.

Aegis Acquires iProspect for $50M

Congrats to Fredrick Marckini and the folks at iProspect, as they pocket $50 mill and join Aegis Group. It’s going to be really interesting to watch how an SEM agency is integrated into an agency group like that. Nice that iProspect will remain its own brand and entity rather than being mushed into another interactive agency.
